I love techno songs that have actual drums, instead of 808s. The catchy melodies with the drums combined make a chef's kiss worth a song. 10/10.

Oh wow, did you choose an old track to check up on. I work with the Fruity Edition myself, my dude, but that's not stopped me yet. It's not about the tools you have, it's how you make use of them, and there's LOADS of free and affordable VSTs out there to choose from. Plugin Boutique frequently has sales on a LOT of good plugins, from synths to effects, distortion sims to EQs. There should also be a resource post on the forums here as well to lead you to some nice free and paid options, so you've got a lot to choose from! In fact, FL Studio comes with the FLEX plugin, which gives access to a LOT of good sounds, and there are some free expansions you can download right from the plugin itself, so you've got plenty at your fingertips, my guy. Go out and find the sounds you want and need!
